The Enabling Grids for EsciencE (EGEE) project has brought together scientists, business and grid computing practitioners from around the globe. It has established the world's largest production grid infrastructure operated by more 90 partners spanning 45 countries from Europe and the rest of the World.

The EGEE grid is used daily by thousands of scientists coming from various disciplines like High Energy Physics, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Computational Chemistry, Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Fusion, among others. It currently supports more than 200 Virtual Organisations (VOs).

The User Forum has evolved as an annual key event of the EGEE project since the first forum in May 2006 at CERN, succeeded by the second in May 2007 at Manchester, UK, this being held in conjunction with OGF20. It provides an important opportunity for members of the EGEE user community, and also the wider scientific and business grid communities, to present their work, discuss grid technology use with colleagues, and learn about advances in middleware and application services.

The main technical programme consists of daily plenary sessions featuring distinguished keynote speakers, followed by parallel sessions focusing on grid use within the many user disciplines, and also on specific grid technologies and techniques. Sessions for demonstrations and posters will augment the oral program, and provide a key element of the forum.

Exhibition space will be available close to the main demo and poster area. This will allow business organisations and collaborating projects to showcase their activities in the provision and use of grid technology. If you are interested to book an exhibition area, please contact us.
